Donations via cheque, money order and credit card can be dropped off at Suite 143 (CEO’s Office) on the main floor of the Hospital, or mailed to the Foundation’s Hospital address at 76 Grenville Street, Toronto, ON M5S 1B2.

WCHF’s fundraising activities support the Hospital’s greatest priorities and needs. If you would like to direct your donation to a specific area or program, simply let us know and your contribution will be used to support the area or program of your choice.

WCHF’s direct response program provides donors with a number of opportunities – via both mail and telephone – to make a donation throughout the year. With a number of occasions to give, donors can choose the time of year that is best for them to donate. We are grateful for all donations we receive.

Yes! Making a Tribute Gift is an excellent way to say you care – whether it’s honouring a friend or loved one, showing gratitude for care received, marking a special occasion (such as a birthday, anniversary, graduation), or celebrating a life through a memorial gift.

Donations can be made anonymously, or at the donor’s request, the Foundation will send a card to the honouree to let them know that a gift has been made on their behalf.

No. This information is kept strictly confidential unless otherwise instructed by you, the donor.

Yes, we welcome the opportunity to discuss with you what is needed and what the hospital can best use. Each donation of equipment is dealt with on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for guidelines.

Yes. Revenue Canada requires an independent appraisal. If you would like a tax receipt, you will need to get an appraisal on equipment you wish to donate to the Hospital. Please contact the Foundation in advance.

All donations, apart from our monthly giving program, are receipted immediately. Sustaining Donors receive a receipt for their total annual giving at the beginning of the following year.
