Shoppers Drug Mart Tree of Life Supports Women’s College

Women’s College Hospital Foundation was honoured to be the beneficiary of the Shoppers Drug Mart 2009 Tree of Life Campaign. Between September 26 and October 16, 2009, customers at any of fourteen Shoppers Drug Mart stores in downtown Toronto could purchase and personalize their own paper leaf ($1), maple leaf ($5) or apple ($50). Each leaf or apple was displayed on a branch of the Tree of Life in the store where it was purchased, and 100% of the proceeds went to WCHF.

The Tree of Life campaign gives Shoppers Drug Mart and Shoppers Home Health Care customers and employees, the opportunity to make a difference to the communities in which they live and work. During the 2009 campaign, their combined efforts resulted in over $21,000 being raised to support Women's College!
